Sunday Morning

I just posted the long overdue entry (dated on Aug 17). So, now I will start to write some current events. Hehe. Sorry Yokie for not reading your bloggie for some time. Reflect to one of your post, certainly no one like to work extra hours. I was so dead the day that I need to work till 11pm because of the stupid audit. Work is not our life (just part of it) and we don't live for work. Cow meh? We know it but still we are all out in field, working like a cow. So we're looking for the mana that can revitalize our body, mind and soul.

My manas are:
*Seabiscuit (keke), in fact the most powerful one. But sometimes this can be poisonous too.
*Computer (just can't live without it)
*Food (universal mana, this works for everyone)

Other than the mana, there are also things that we can do, like go travel, hang out with friends, watch a good movie, go shopping and spend like mad. So, yesterday I went for spa and I felt like a princess. It was so beautiful and relaxing. I wish I could take some pictures and post it here. First I went into the steam room, you know, those with steam, make you sweat like mad. I never like sport because I don't like to sweat but actually sweating is a good form of stress reliever. And after sweating like mad for 15 mins, I went into the jacuzzi bath. A real milk bath(with 10 bottle of fresh milk) and with roses sprinkle on top. It was soooo American Beauty. And then massage for 1 hour. If you're too stressed out, I would definately recommend this. It's happy to make yourself happy.

Something solid

Today I feel like want to write something solid. And thoughts are venting out from me.....tremendously. So this will be an entry without any pictures.

Now that more ppl are reading my blog....and this include my boyfriend(especially him -_-), I can't use this bloggie as my emotion discharger anymore. Because of this, I'm not as verbose as I used to be. So, Matt, sorry, no more witty eloquent entry from me....just VANITY which you love to hate but subconsciously asking for more. HAHA. erm, ok, that's a really vain remark. If so, then what's the point of having the blog? What the heck, I can write just about anything that crosses my head (just have to becareful).

Looking at my body lotion, it has a manufactured date. And the milk I'm drinking now, it does has one too. Even human has our start date. Everyone celebrate and hail the beginning of everything ( I don't mean the lotion or the milk but something like birth of a life, start of a year, or memorable events, hence the word anniversary was invented). Everything has a start date. But does a relationship needs a start date? Yes and no. Why yes? Because it's a start of something beautiful and it's a date to remember. And why no? Things that has start date comes with an expiry date. And true love does not expire. So it's not important to have a start date in a relationship. Right??? Well, obviously I'm in a relationship that don't have a start date and it's soooo special. (well that's a sarcasm remark, in case you don't realize).

People are constantly talking and looking for true loves. What's that? I dunno. Some claim it's a racehorse. Well, some found their racehorse. Some still searching. Some riding on the wild horse. Some got a horse that don't run (just nibble grass). Now nobody cares whether it's a racehorse or not. Heck, just catch any stallion, with enough care and training and lots of miracle lucks, wish and pray hard for it to become the next Seabiscuit. Ok, forget about true love. Let's start with an easier task, true friends. At first I thought this was easy to find. I guess you guys probably would have know what I'm about to say here. Haha...and to beat around the bush with story of true love and Seabiscuit. I always think I'm a cool friend. Cool in terms of never bug about my friend's personal life, accept their shortcomings, and just do my job as a friend which is to be supportive and expect them to be one in return. And friends would not/should not/could not cross the line with my Seabiscuit. It's the stupidest thing to lost a friend over a horse (in her case, a mule!). And this is so hurt and disappointing. I guess at this point, I can clearly differentiate between frienship and sisterhood. Sisters, you know who you are. Thanks and I love you all.

HOTLINK USER ALERT

~~~HOTLINK USER ALERT~~~
Some of you might already know this but I think many have yet to know this superb reward thing. Did you know what everytime that we reload your bucks into the handphone we're given some Hotlink points. I never bother about the stupid points, which at first I thought was to use for purchasing MMS or ringtones which will eventually lead us to more credit deduction. But am I dead wrong. We can use the points to redeem for free SMS and also free airtime. Marvelous eh. Here's how:
  • Type *100# and call (Don't worry, this won't cost you a cent)
  • You'll come to a menu, then choose 4 for Hotlink Club Reward(by selecting 'reply' and then type 4)
  • From there, choose 1 to check your points. You will get a SMS from Hotlink shortly.
  • Then from the same menu, choose 2 to redeem points. You can either choose 1 for Special Promotion or 2 for Airtime. For Special Promotion, here you can use your points to for free SMSes. 100 points for 200 SMS. As for Airtime, 100points = RM1. So, you decide what you wana do with all your points.
Ok, I just redeemed 1000 free SMSes. I'm going to SMS all my friends to read my blog. HEHEHE
Some enlightenment
Read something interesting from forwarded emails, an article by George Carlin (don't know who the hell this is but need to quote him, I don't want to be accuse of plagiarism).
So here some enlightenment~~
~~~~How To Stay Young~~~~
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctor worry about them. That is why you pay him.
Take out 'age'? I wish I could. This is the no.1 thing that keep us from being young.

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches only pull you down.
I'm blessed with those crazyyyyyyyyyy friends.

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computers, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop'. And the devil's name is Alzheimer.
George Carlin forgot to mention mahjong. The best Alzheimer prevention. OMG....this makes my hand itchy. I kissed a few tiles after taking this picture. I miss you sooooo muchhhhhh!!!

4. Enjoy the simple thing.
I enjoy baking cakes. But it's not a simple thing. I can only make Temptation Oreo.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
How can I not laugh when I have a bunch of crazy friends (refer #2) and a DAMN BLOODY witty boyfriend(are you happy now?).

6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve and move on. The only person who is with us our entire life is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
Crying is the best pain reliever.

7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsake, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
Of course.

8. Cherish your health. If it is good, perserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
True also. Nothing much to comment. But I'm not a health freak. I don't diet. I don't do sport. For short, I'm not healthy. But at least I don't smoke or drink.

9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, to the next country, to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.
Huh? Guilt trips? Anyway, I already have too many trips planned ahead, Langkawi, Singapore and maybe one more KL trip....don't even know whether I got the money for it or not. I still checking on AirAsia promotion from time to time. But will need to put that in 2007.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
I LOVE YOUUUUUUUU!!!!! You know who you are.

Two entries in a day. To make it up for being absent for such a long period. You can see that I'm being abandoned today. *sigh* But at least now I have my own personal space and time to do my own stuff, update my blog, comment of other ppl's blog (Yokie already merajuk), watch my Desperate Housewives, eat my snacks, read my Cleo and Minna.

Love is in Penang

Before anything else, meet my new sleepmate, Nici. This is the first gift from 'him'. I don't want to write so much about this because I know he'll be reading this. Shouldn't tell him my blog's URL....but.....sigh. Have to be careful with what I write. This is also another reason why I didn't blog for some time....hope he will eventually forget that I have a blog. Hehe.

Here's some of the pictures from my Penang trip. These pictures are kinda different from previous ones because they were taken by him.

Except for this one of course. Obviously it's another self portrait of ME. HAHAHA!!

This is Penang.

Children playing.

Bubble bubble....

Feet in love....

Owner of the pair of love feet.

Artistic leh? HAHAHA. I don't even know how to narrate the pictures.

Chilling at Starbucks Cafe

This is another long overdue entry. Everyone begans to ask for the photos. I'd been occupy with activities lately. From gathering in Ipoh to gathering in Penang.

So here's the picture of the getting together at Starbucks. Yes, finally we have Starbucks in Ipoh.

3 leng luis

Another 3 leng luis.

Nai Nai was getting annoyed with me. Mary looked nice with that admiring pose.

Group photo is a must.

This is Kin Fai making his debut as the BF. What's with the hesitate look? Guys are dying to take that place >_<

This is more like it. But what's with his hand? He should be hugging me, dammit.

Last take of the mold brothers. Now Alex is working in KL. No longer Unisem's mold brother.

The night we hang out at Starbucks, I think suppose to be their openning day, or so....because clown was giving balloons and doing magic tricks and deejay was playing quiz games and giving away freebies, which I took home a Starbucks mug and a bag of coffee beans.

Colourful Life

I don't know what I want to blog about today. Probably just a pointless post. Ping just commented that April Zara's blog is nice. And then I responded with, of course, her life is colourful and she is always happy.

So, how happy and colourful is my life? I can say that I am very much happy and contended with my life. But I remember always complaining about my monotonous life. But how colourful our life might be is up to how we want to add colour into it.We can have it dark and grey. We can have it colourful like the balloons. I think this year is my most colourful year of my entire life. Despite that I broke up with Joe this year but I still think that I made the right choice...well....without him I did a lot of enjoyable things, went out with friends without asking his permission(which seldom get approve unless I'm going with him) and travelled around with my friends and had a great time! And of course 'personal time'. This is one thing that he never understand. Everyone needs their own time. And this is what I call a LIFE! I don't want my life to just revolve around a man. And I'm sure that I want a man that wants me to have my own life as well.

And so, I will enrich my life from now on and I think I'm starting doing a great job painting my life with more and more colours. And so you will see more pictures in my blog. I'm thinking of fixing my old car (or even better if I could afford a new car, white MYVI is yummy) so that I can drive out-station, travelling locally, looking for my friends, stay their house, eat their food....be afraid, be very afraid. hahaha. But frankly, there are many places in Malaysia that I still haven't land my foot on....for instance, Melaka, Johor, Kedah, Terengganu. Erm, not that I have a lot of friends around Malaysia that I can leeches on, but thinking about how I can go around and eatting food from different places (not really my friend's food lar...), seeing places, seeing people, smilling, laughing, cam-whoring, more and more self-portraits....just the thought alone has made me happy. Yes, this is the colourful life that I really really want. If I'm single, such dreams would be easier to realize. However,now that I'm not, but I will not waste my youth and freedom that I have now. I'm pretty sure my dear dear (yes, I call him dear dear, you all stop giving him weird names) will be supportive.

And Matt, sorry to know that you lost your laptop. So next time, carry it along like....erm.....like your own organ. Don't say it's inconvenient lar, your fats are heavier than your laptop lar. Same goes for everyone else who uses laptop that need to brings it out from house or workplace. You guys just know how safe is our society nowadays. Few years ago, I got my bag and new Samsung handphone that's not even one month old snatched (luckily not my life).
And also thanks Matt for saying that I'm eloquent, but pls arr...I'm not vain.>_<

KL Trip

Pardon me for posting the KL trip pictures so late. Ping gave me the remaining pics taken with her digicam a few days ago but my bad for keeping you guys wait (as if I got a lot of readers anticipating my blog entries -_- ). Anyway, here you go.......be informed, this will be long......

Me and Ping carpooled Alex's car to KL(my colleague), many thanks to him....although not a free ride, I paid him back the toll money. Yeah, yeah, I know, gender equality....no more free rides in this era of technology and human equality. I was sick with stupid flu but I just have to make this trip happen. I planned this so long ago(with Ping) and got cancelled a few times. Come on, it's just a short KL trip, no big deal....why I had to make it so difficult? Then what about my dream to go Hong Kong, Holland, Germany and New Zealand? And so, I brought along a lot of tissues and endured the whole freezingly cold front seat 2 hours ride to KL. But by the time I reached KL, I was half dead....too much clogs and I can hardly breath. We had a drink at Steven's Corner and then head back to Deb's place. And whoa....her apartment is WHOAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, really WHOAAAA......haha. Frankly, it's a cosy and neat apartment. I really envy that she's actually living in her own apartment, decorated it the way she wants it, refrigerator, TV, a kitchenette....everything is just so neat and comfy. That's a place you can call HOME. I wonder when I can have my own real home.

Me and Nai Nai at Deb's room. Me exhauseted. Nai still as fresh as a milk(don't think obscene.HAHA). And I look so tan beside milky Nai.

After a good night sleep....Not really a good night sleep actually. We chatted till 3am and I kept waking up intermittently. Anyway, trying my best to look refreshed.

Me and Nai at Deb's living room. Don't you just adore the colour scheme of her living room. Yellowish...beigish....oooo it's just so romantic.

I just can't help taking self-portrait all the time. Don't hate me!

And then we(Me, Deb, Ping, Nai with Fai driving) head to KL town. Let's rock the town!!!! Let's ransack Sg.Wang....wooohoooo....
But before that we had to drop Deb off to hand over some exam registration or something like that. I just know she's been filling those examination-like sheets the whole morning,I mean, colouring all the little holes black....I hope you know what I mean, because I don't even know what I'm talking about. And so we waited her outside this I-don't-remember-what-it's-name building that don't allow us to use the washroom. Sheesh. But they didn't stop us from taking pictures. So we snapped like the Jap (Jap=japanese....just like the way it rhymes).

And again, this is my blog, so I can put as many self-portrait as I want. WAHAHA.

Beside the building, there's this very classy and Victorian-like furniture shop. We don't dare to enter the shop because it was too posh for us. From outside I could see that they are selling a chandelier for RM49,000. A chandelier for a price of a MYVI car. Just imagine. Anyway, it's KL, so no big deal.

And more pics outside that building.

And then we head over to Sg.Wang. We met up with Pek Mun there. It has been years...I think more than 5 years since we last see each other. She haven't change. Still the same old good Pek Mun we always love (I mean love to bully...haha). We spent hours there. In fact, we spent 2 hours walking on the same floor. As usual, I'm the big spender. Deb didn't caught much shopping prey because she said she always shop like mad, so it's our turn this time. I mean, it's my turn this time. The rest got quite a strong buying resistant.

But how can you resist something so pretty like those?

Aftermath of non-stop walking and shopping, exhaustion. But group pic is a must!

This is our lunch. For 5 human being. Not kidding you. But then Deb add on another chicken rice. Food court food, as usual, not nice. But good for diet, because we don't feel like eating anymore after the first moutful. But the deserts(thong sui) were kinda good.

Later on, at Berjaya Time Squares. Me and Nai already stopped our shopping spree. But Ping was still running around looking for more buyable stuff, which still end up nothing at all...Where's Deb? She's waiting patiently at Starbuck. Kelian Deb....we joined her shortly after this.

By the time we finished shopping, it was already 9pm and we haven't had anything since the diet food court lunch. So we decided not to go to Souled Out anymore. We took monorails back to Sri Petaling and chomped there.

This is Wong Kok Char Chan Teng, Hong Kong styled restaurant. The ambience here was not bad. Much like Old Town Kopitiam...but of course, the food much more creative and better. Nowadays, such Kopitiam concept cafe/restaurant are hitting the town. We could see those everywhere, even in a small lonely town like Ipoh.

We sure like deserts (thong sui). Ping and Deb look like professional food tester. Cute. Fai hated his ginger tea but it's good for his stomach (and Nai's too).

Girls like thong sui. Yummy!

The fried dumpling is good. Deb was busy with her mee. So does everyone else. They were showing off their meal. Where's MINE???? My twin sauce cheese-baked rice took ages to come. When it was served, I was too hungry and chomped up the whole thing before I realize I haven't take any pic of it.

After the dinner, we went back to Deb's place and rest our poor sore feet. Everyone was totally exhausted but we still chatted the whole night. We were having really a good time. It's better to spend some comfy times like this with my friends than going out clubbing or those happening places in KL that I'm dying to see. But a get together with old friends is much more worth anything!

We showed off our treasure hunts.

On Sunday morning, we had late breakfast (brunch to be exact) before heading for more shopping. We went to a small boutique called Amour near Deb's place. Everyone got something we liked there and everyone was happy. Then we yum cha at Wong Kok again until Alex was reading to pick me up back Ipoh.

Dim sum is YUMMY!! But Nai Nai looked so fed up.

Look at all the yummylicious dim sum.

All we do was eat eat and eat. This is Chocolate Fondue. First time trying something Fondue. Next time I will try Cheese Fondue, if I can find that anywhere in Malaysia.

I'm having Papaya drink. It's believe to make our breast grow bigger and bigger and bigger. I don't know why Nai Nai keep drinking my papaya drink, she already got more than enough.(haha, it's because I can't finish it all lar, hehe). And the pink pouch is pretty, Ping's camera pouch.

That's all for today. I need to do my report for tomorrow's work. *sigh* I'm so darn lazy now and I so much wanted to watch Desperate Housewives now.

And oo, before I forget....Thanks Debbie and Fai soooooo much for the great hospitality.

KL Shopping Spree

Hello everyone!! I just came back from a super shopping spree from KL. Really enjoyable and tire. Matt already asked me why haven't update my blog for quite some time. So, I have to blog something today, haha. I won't blog too much today because I'm a bit tire(although I miss blogging a lot while away for 3 days) but to sastify the hunger of my ardent blog readers.....so....here's some appetizer before the real saliva-drooling-KL-trip blog entry.

I got plenty of pictures taken at KL but some of the pics are still at Ping's camera. So I will blog about the entire trips when I get all the pictures. For now, I will show off what I got from KL.

I went with two bags but came back with six!! Minus Yoke Ping's luggages that's not even in this picture. I took 1 hours to unpack everything. And of course including taking pictures of my treasure hunt findings.

OK. Let's see what's in the pile of goodies that I brought back from KL. (and also calculate how much I'd spent during the crazy shopping spree)
First stop is at SG WANG PLAZA
White shirt with small flower prints(RM19.90) and pink princess tank top (RM13.90).
Cloths from this Sg. Wang shop was really cheap. Debbie bought an exactly same shirt as the white one(she took black) at Ipoh and it was RM50(she said), but as far as I can remember it was more than that because I tried on that black shirt before but decided not to buy because it was too expensive. I think it was around RM70 if I'm not wrong (Deb, correct me if I'm wrong). Funny thing was, Deb bought another pink one from this Sg.Wang shop and grumbled all day about not going to shop in Ipoh's boutique anymore. HAHAHA

Corset-like spaghetti top from M:30 (RM35.00)
Total spent at Sg.Wang = RM68.80

Then we moved to Lot 10
Turquoise tank top (RM15.00) and lacy belt(RM29.90). I saw the exact same lacy belt at Sg.Wang which was priced at RM39.90 and nearly impulse buy it but halted by Nai Nai (thankssss). There's a market sort of stalls at the Isetan's main hall and a lot of interesting items there. But things at Isetan ain't cheap. But the lacy belt was a good bargain. MNG at Isetan is having super sales but it was too crowded, plus I was a feeling a bit sick and tire at that moment, so I didn't got any MNG :( but I did bring a MNG blouse back, read further and you'll know.
Total spent at Lot 10 = RM44.00

Last pit is Berjaya Time Squares
Jeans at French Blues (RM69.90). It's very rare that I could find a jeans that could fit me on a first try because I have small waist but large butt. I bought it instantly.

White lacy bag(RM15.00). I'm just too into lace. But this bag is sure cheap. Ping and Nai Nai almost went through all the bags in the shop and ended up with a bag of their choice (Ping got 2).

Despotic hair mask (RM50.00), free leave-on hair moisturizer. I got tire of waiting Ping and Nai Nai at the bag shop so I went next door to the hair saloon wholesale shop and bought this. I was a bit regret afterward because the huge hair mask is darn heavy.
Total spent at Time Square = RM134.90

The next day we went to the OUG Plaza, near Deb's house.
Baby blue shirt(RM22.90), lavender lacy tank(RM15.90) and pink tube(RM3.90). Got those cheap and nice cloths from Amour. Deb said I got too many of those lacy tops. I think so but I can't resist the colour. I don't have lavender!

Alain Dellon pink travelling bag (RM19.90). I am looking for one for such a long time. And finally found one. Now my pink collection is almost complete.
Total spent at OUG Plaza = RM62.60

Oh, and those cutesy bitsy accessories
Bangles(RM9.90), handphone bears(RM10), butterfly earrings(RM13.90), diamond loop earrings(RM19.90), hair tie(RM4.90).
Total spent on accessories = RM58.60

Total spent on cloths and accessories = RM368.90!!!!!!
and this I haven't even add in the food money. -_-

And also got some freebies from my best buddies. The MNG wrap blouse(I don't know the name of that colour) was from Debbie and the white polo tshirt was from Yoke Ping, as my birthday presents. Thank you sooooo much!!!

I could write more but I really should sleep now. Will write more tomorrow.....
