Dedicated to L

After writing the reviews for movies I'd watch during the first quarter of 2007, I had to write an entry dedicated to L from Death Note. Should have done this long time ago. ^__^

From Wikipedia :
L (エル Eru)
L is the world's top-rated detective, tasked with tracking down and arresting Kira, and Light's nemesis. His disheveled appearance masks his great powers of deduction and insight. L has many quirks, such as sitting in an odd manner and snacking on sweets in the middle of meetings. He often takes drastic strategies to confuse and force his opponents, and on several occasions he has willingly disclosed several of his weaknesses to Kira at the risk of his own life in the hopes that he would lure him into a trap.

Ken'ichi Matsuyama as L in the movie.

Am I the only that think L in the movie was gothically handsome? While watching Death Note for the first time with my friends, I already openly declared my feeling towards him and Yokie and Nai Nai said I got weird taste. -_-
But he was smarter and better looking(IMO) than Light what. In fact, I prefer L in the movie more than L in the manga(because he died and lost to Light). Although L in the movie also died in the end but at least he out-smarted Light but with the cost of his own life, how sad.
And Kenichi Matsuyama played his role as L perfectly, as if he was just playing himself.....so well!

How sweeeetttttt......

I am so in love with the way L hold stuff. So cool leh....

This manga drawing of L on his bicycle reminds me of.....

Rukawa Kaede from Slamdunk but I can't find any picture of him on bicycle. But I remember reading the manga where Kaede was sleeping while riding his bike to school.

2007 Movie List (January-March)

This will be a list of movies I'd watched in cinema (and my reviews)...with updates as of today.

Hmmm.....seems like I watched too few movies in February and March but there were too few good movies available in Ipoh's TGV and GSC. Ipoh screen really sucks, bigtime. I wanted so much to watch Pursue Of Happiness and Dreamgirls. Sheesh.....

Total of 16 movies(including DVDs) I'd watch for the first quarter of 2007, the best movie so far is....
..
...
....
.....
none other than

BLOOD DIAMOND (won hands down.....by milesss)

March

  • Pan's Labyrinth (DVD) : This movie was banned by Malaysia Cencorship Board. I had to watched this movie...first because it was on #50 on IMDB top 250, second because it was a foreign movie and third because Yokie was watching it on DVD while chatting MSN with me and keep saying how gory it was. From the summary, this was a fantasy+gore+drama genre, which really caught my attention. But it was not as gore as I thought it was, although there's a few bloody scene, for instant the scene with the rabbit hunter's face was smashed with a bottle and then the Kapitan's mouth slitted open....and became Kapitan aka The Joker. The creatures from Ofelia's fantasy were not that horrible also...even for the Pale Man. But it's the ambiguity of the story that hit the spot into the top 250 ranked movies, whether the labyrinth and all the fantasy was the young girl's imagination to escape from the bitter taste of war or was it real? The movie has a sad ending too, which makes you think hard, what really happen here? And let your bewildered imagination conclude the ending. Usually such movie will make you keep on thinking about this movie, even long after you'd left the cinema or switch off your DVD player. And of course this is nothing like Narnia and much better I would say.
    Rating : 3.5 out of 5
  • The Departed (DVD) : Review for this movie will be short. The director Scorsese might be more famouse than Alex Mak (who first came out with Infernal Affairs) and TD got some big shot actors in it but it was nothing compare to IA. And I did not understand why the gwai-lous was so hyped about this mafia/gangster movie. They already had The Godfather, Goodfellas, Scarface, Donnie Brasco and so many similar titles down the list. And yet, a remake of an Asian movie won Oscar awards? Last year was gay movie, this was another gangster movie....I guess the director should come out with another dinosaur chasing kids movie or ship sinking tragedy movie if they want to hit the easy jackpot with The Academy Board.
Rating : 2.0 out of 5 (2.0 also because I give face to Mr. Scorsese only)
  • 300 (16/Mar/07) : A very beautiful ancient war picture, based on Frank Miller's graphic novel. Every scene was composed and shot in such artfully beautiful. I believe there's much more blood than shown in the big screen and I'm suprise that the Malaysia Cencorship Board missed the almost naked oracle. -_-
Anyway, this was a beautiful movie and nothing more than just beautiful...erm, maybe gory too and that's it. And I felt like watching a PC-game....spartan, persian...
    And ooo....not forgeting Faramir....oh Faramir.
    Rating : 3.5 out of 5

  • Gridiron Gang (DVD) : Very inspiring true story about a courageous counsellor of a juvenile camp that teams up a group of underage convicts into a football heroes. The actual story was already so inspiring beautiful and this movie make it even more beautiful. The Rock proves to be not only a wrestler but also a promising actor.
Rating : 5.0 out of 5 (Any movie that make me cry, I will instantly give it a 5!)

  • The Haunted School (15/Mar/07) : This is what I mean with cheap HK production. There's nothing more I want to comment on this and I don't know why we went to watch this....I guess it's because the cinema was lack of good movie. I regretted that I did not choose Mukhsin over this, totally...>_< Rating : Does not deserve any rating at all.
  • Protégé (04/Mar/07) : The first Hong Kong movie I'd watch this year and I catched it at Parade's GSC (despite the poor maintenance, the popcorn were tastier than TGV). After Infernal Affairs, this was the best HK movie I'd ever watch. It's odd that both movies has Andy Lau and he was real good being the baddy. Which brought much contrast to sissy Daniel who happens to be an undercover cops (why it always has to be an undercover cop??? Is there really so much handsome undercover cop around?). I used to like Daniel Wu a lot (mainly because of his pretty boy look) but this acting skills hasn't improve at all after so many years. And as he aged, he doesn't fit into the pretty boy category anymore, much towards sissy man. -_- If you don't believe me, you guys should go watch The Banquet, where he played the sissy version of Asian Prince Hamlet and you couldn't agree more. But overall, this is a very deep movie, way much too deep compare to the other cheap HK production. Although this was a fictitious movie about drug trafficking but the concept behind the script was indeed very true and it happens to the everyday life. It was really sad to see how drug can ruin one's life.
    Rating : 4 out of 5

February

  • Ghostrider (17/Feb/07) : I watched this in a group of 30 ppl, all were Kin Fai's friends. It was a cinema gathering on CNY eve. Most ppl were disappointed with this but I did enjoy watching the CG and the comedy in this movie. What can you expect from a comic-based hero/anti-hero movie? This is like 100X better than Superman Returns, what (which I felt asleep halfway through). And I did not went into the cinema with any great expectation, that was why I found this movie pretty enjoyable. And Nicholas Cage was still maturely cute, what. haha. Hmm....I remember that I read somewhere that Mr. Cage is an avid comic book collector.
    Rating : 2.5 out of 5
  • The Unseeable (10/Feb/07) : Thailand seems to lost touch with making a fairly good spooky horror movie. This is kinda slow and no spook factor at all. It's about a pregnant lady who's husband went missing, seek solace by living with her friend that worked in a huge mansion. And the rest is all about the haunted house.....which doesn't look so haunted. What I like most was the ending of this movie, the Sixth Sense-like ending. Personally, I prefer Korean horror movie anytime.
    Rating : 1 out of 5

JANUARY
  • Death Note 2 (30/Jan/07) : Sequel to Death Note(which I watched with a awfully subtitled DVD). It's a brilliant movie, more about brains vs brain rather than just a freaky horror flick. It's fun to see how L and Light trying to out-smart each other. Talking about L(Ken'ichi Matsuyama), I am drooling all over with this cool lanky character and I am super glad that the ending of this movie is very different from the original manga. I already knew that in the manga, L lost to Light and hence is why I'm refusing to read the manga although it's much more detail and longer. However, the movie is as beautiful as it is. This is a success not every movie adapted from comic/manga/book can achieve.
    Rating : 3 out of 5
  • The Holiday (26/Jan/07) : Yet another feel good Christmas festive movie. But why are we watching Christmas movie in January? (-__-) However, this was a very funny and romantic movie. And I really adore Black-Winslet couple in this movie. They should have more intimate scene together. They exploited the sex scene of the pretty boy and girl in this movie too much(Law-Diaz couple) but I still think the Black-Winslet couple is the more attractive pair.
    Rating : 3 out of 5
  • Blood Diamond (19/Jan/07) : I don't know why other ppl under-rate this movie. This type of movie was on par with all the Oscar/Golden Globe/whatever award winning movies. I tried to recommend this to my colleagues but they already had this mindset that this is a boring war picture. But can't blame them, I don't expect much from this movie, especially with Leonardo. But I was wrong. This was the best movie I'd watch so far in TGV for 2006/2007. TGV should screen more movie like this. And Leonardo was not the Jack Dawson boy anymore. He grew fat and beard to look old and more sexy.
    Rating : 5 out of 5
  • Sinking of Japan (12/Jan/07) : They never get tire of making a movie out from the same concept. And the audience never get tire of watching it (maybe some do). The concept, the backdrop, the people scattered everywhere and screaming scene and the ending...it was like a rerun of Armageddon, Deep Impact, The Days After Tomorrow and even Wars of The World. Talking about the ending, with disaster movie we can always expect(not just expect or guess...it's for sure!!) a touching heroic ending. But with Sinking of Japan, the suppose to be sad and heroic ending seems kinda cheesy. And they tried to add romance into the movie, to make it more tragic...which end up looking like double cheese burger. And then I really beh tahan the aneroxic actor, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi which looked like an aneroxic zombie throughout the movie.
    Rating : 1.0 out of 5
  • The Return (11/Jan/07) : Hollywood should never ever produce another horror flick. And Sarah Michelle Gellar should guest star as a patient in one or two episode of Nip/Tuck due to her bad nose job. But honestly despite the cheesy scares, the plot was good. But if this was make with a Korean or Japanese production, it should score better. Not bad I would say.
    Rating : 2.5 out of 5
  • The Guardian (07/Jan/07) : OMG OMG OMG, Kevin Costner. And this movie has nothing more to offer. Ashton Kucher tried real hard this time to salvage his acting career but he won't sink as long as he tag along as Moore's boy. Anyhow, this is a great tribute movie to the unsung heroes of the U.S. Coast Guard. And oh, movie endings nowadays are so predictable....or did I watch too many movies?
    Rating : 2.5 out of 5
  • Night in the Museum (04/Jan/07) : This was a feel good Disney-like family movie, with moral values, comedies and good ending. Nothing can go wrong with movie like that. We just chill and relax and had a good laugh. But the bonus of this movie was Owen Wilson's uncredited Shanghai Noon reprise act.
    Rating : 2.5 out of 5
  • Eragon (01/Jan/07) : No one can watch this movie without comparison to the Lord of The Ring trilogy and at the end of this movie everyone will expect Eragorn to follow suit in either making a sequel or even a trilogy. It's not fair if we compare because it's no where near to the standard of the LOTR trilogy. But stand alone this movie was kinda entertaining, major credit and only attraction from the dragon, Saphira. Other than that, there's nothing I like about this movie. The main cast of the movie, Eragon himself failed to deliver the hero out from the character. Edward Speleers tried so hard with the bambi-stare but even so, fail to ooze it out like Elijah Wood did in Frodo. Ooo..okok, no comparison with LOTR. But suprisingly, Eragon was a very first debut movie for Edward Speleers. Seems like director Stefen Fangmeier wanted to try new blood. But ironically, Eragon was also a debut directorial movie for Fangmeier. So, can't complain too much, so much first time for everyone. And also big applause for the dragon and the rest of the CG of this movie. But fans of the book will be very very....not just disappointed but even disgusted with this movie.
    Rating : 1.0 out of 5

I will keep this list updated from time to time. It will be a fun to read by the end of this year and suprise myself how much movies I'd watch in a year. ^_^

Things that I don't like

While chatting with Yokie, I just realize that she has sooooooooooooo many things that she dislikes. A bit fussy kinda person and has a lot of weird restrictions and rules. Then I thought it'll be interesting if we blog out the stupid things that we really despise but yet it seems perfectly normal and generally accepted by everyone else.

  1. Peas and beans. I hate hate hate....ultimately hate eating peas and beans, especially green peans, red beans, soy beans. I just don't understand why you all have to put those yucky little tasteless things when you fried rice or on top of pizzas. But.....I can take food(or drink) processed from peans and beans such as soy milk, taufu, kacang putih(anytime!!).
  2. I don't like to spend time putting colors on my face. Some girls look gorgeous under a heavy layer of make-ups but I just don't have the patience and talent for face art. But I can draw well on papers. Hehe.
  3. I don't like to wear skirt. I know girls look good in skirt and in fact, girls should wear skirt. But I just don't.....and I don't know why.
  4. I don't like to bath early in the morning. And I don't understand why most ppl can stand the chillness of morning water. I rather bath before I go to sleep. How dirty can you get in your own bed?
  5. I don't like to work. And let alone working OT. I just hate my responsible self that force my body to work so hard and sometimes going home late. Working is NOT my life, just part of it and I don't want it to occupy my whole life. If possible, I don't want to work at all or early retirement at 40. HAHA....
  6. I don't like to go to work early. What for? I'll be going home late anyway. This co-relate back to #5..I don't like to work mar....so don't like to go to work early lar. Some of my colleague go to work an hour earlier....I really don't understand why. Edited to reply Yokie's comment : It's not common if you're on the top list of late-comers.
  7. I don't like to go out with my glasses, even for a short while. I just can't let others see me in my glasses.
  8. I don't like to drink beer, taste like vomit. It's the worst type of liquor and I don't understand why it's most popular and it's not the cheapest drink available. I prefer rum, tonic, tequila, whisky which are more sophisticated liquor drink.
Haiya, stop at #8 lar. I thought I can go till #10 but this is too difficult. I don't have as much restriction as Yokie. >__<

Welcome home Nici

Finally, I got my own puppy, a new member in our house. Nici....she's just so darn adorable. I took her home on 14/March, one month after her birthday on 14/Feb. I went to Kg.Tawas with Nai Nai and it was a rainy night, eagerly, anxiously and guiltly because I'm taking away Nici from her mom.
The first night for me and Nici was difficult. My parents did not know that I smuggled a puppy into the house and hide her in my room. She was so good and quiet and slept most of the time. But she woke up every 2 and 3 hours and pee in my room. -_- Everytime she yelped, I woke up and see what happen to her. What a sleepless night I had.....but I'm smart enough to take the next day off. And because of Nici, I was soooooo tire but thanks to Nai Nai who was there to help me and she even bought her a small cozy carrier cage.

Nici, you are soooooo cute.

She's sleeping with my old towel.

And she slept.

And slept....

And slept....

Lazy Nici, she can sleep anytime, any place, any position.

Everyone loves Nici.

Even my parents. They adore her very much. ^______________^

One Night Stand

Casual, meaningless sex. And it's cheaper than prostitution because it don't cost anything. No string attach and it's free. Who's at fault? Asker or giver of the cheap sex?

Rum Jungle, Ipoh. Currently the hippiest pub in Perak.

One-night stand utterly is a common thing nowadays. Sadly but true, as common as going to the cinema. Men are hitting the pubs for bed-able women. Bitches are eyeing on married men. Well, ONSer believe it's their triumph if they fucked a married man/woman. I wonder what the participants of ONS(or the ppl that are so eager to try ONS) have in their feeble mind? Was it out of loneliness, lack of self-esteem, lost with themselves....that need some easy fuck to boost them back to one piece? Or was it just lust and nothing but lust? What is happening to sane humans and you all are acting like animals banging the opposite sex just for the heat of it.

Men, sometimes, I'm really disappointed with your spesies. I know it takes both men and women to close the ONS deal but it so happen that I know more guy friends who'd done it and 100% men will not say no to ONS. If the girl is hot and ready to spread her legs for him with no string attach, I can say ALL men will not refuse the offer.

I am too disgusted to write a long post about this. The more I think about this, the more confidence level will drop in my own relationship.

50 things to do before I die

Perhaps I'll make a longer list. I have so much things that I wana do....more than just 50.

  1. Learn sign language
  2. Road trip from North to South Malaysia.
  3. Scuba dive and take beautiful pictures of the underwater world.
  4. Visit 30 different countries. (So far, I'd only been to Thailand, Hong Kong....only 2??? 28 to go)
  5. Get a dog.
  6. See the Northern Lights/Aurora borealis. To really be at that the place and see the beautiful sky and experience the wonders of nature.
  7. See sunset and sunrise. (This should easier to catch....compare to the Northern Light)
  8. Move out to KL and go beyond my comfort zone.
  9. Go to a play/live teather.
  10. Go to Jay Chou live concert.
  11. Climb a mountain. I think I'll start with Mt.Kinabalu.
  12. Try the original Bali style massage and spa at Bali, the country itself.

  13. Learn horse back riding
  14. Go to some sporting event. Football, basketball, F1...just any sporting events with a lots of ppl. I don't like any particular sport but just want to get the feel of it. Or perhaps join in a wave.
  15. Receive a ring and get married. hehe
  16. Do charity work.
  17. Have a small tattoo. Somewhere not that noticable.
  18. Taste caviar.
  19. To have my own house.
  20. To have my own business. Selling in ebay is consider my own business if it's making money.
  21. To experience back packing in Europe.
  22. Read 1000 books (seems impossible, and I'm not sure when I'll start)
  23. Watch 1000 movies (this is much much easier)
  24. Do volunteery work at SPCA.
  25. Make a piece of art and have it frame. Draw something, make something....
  26. To indulge more in arts and craft. I simply don't have any time for anymore art creation or art exchange. But I did enjoy it very much when I started to know about mail art. I'll release my creativity when I have my time more organize (I guess that'll be when I retire from work).
  27. To have a room of arts and crafts when I have my own house.
  28. Be a great cook. Both cooking and baking. Have my own collection of recipe.
  29. Grow a garden (when I have my own house).
  30. Feel snow. I mean real snow, not those artificial snow in Genting.
  31. Learn how to dance. At least some proper ballroom dance.
  32. Have my own studio shot album.(almost done.....almost...)
  33. Bungee jump. (This is the least that I want to do in my list but it's almost in everyone's to- do list. I don't want to miss something everyone else wanted to do. I just hope I wont die or faint during the jump.)
  34. Get on a ship cruise and enjoy everything they can offer.
  35. Keep in touch with all my best friends and will always find the time to hang out or even do some of the things listed here with them.
  36. Adopt a pet from shelter. (Not same with #5 lar, coz this have to really go to shelter place like SPCA and adopt a pet. Not just simply buy a dog from petshop. This is more noble. Hehe)
  37. Learn calligraphy.(and calligraphy art).
  38. Go to the Olympics.
  39. Ride a gondola in Venice, Italy.

  40. Be in love. Stay in love.
  41. Complete the list before I die.

  43. Learn how to write and read Chinese.
  44. Learn to converse in another language (I have in mind are Japanese, Dutch and French).

  46. Indulge in fine dining. (and #18)
  47. Make my own mini library of books and DVDs/CDs.
  48. Buy a SLR digital camera and excel in photography.
  49. Ski. (by the time I achieve #30, I shall be doing this.hehe)
  50. Be a mother. (also the least thing that I want to do now....but I guess it's a blessing being a mother and by the time I turn 30, I might want to be one.)

Hmm, not easy trying to make this list. I try to think of something that I might actually do and achieve. I read some other list with really too-easy task such as be happy, learn to drive, quit current job...dadada... My 50-things-to-do-before-I-die list are mostly challenging task that will need much of my courage, patience and effort. Some I don't really want/dare to try like bungee jumping but what the heck, you only live once. If I really died of shock during the dive, then I might be feature in the news in papers and TV, and well, that's another big achievement. Hehe.

How much love can money buy? Or....How much money can love buy?

Everyone stared enviously when R(my colleague, consider my breakfast buddies) got a new handphone as a gift from one of her guy friend. She told us the guy is not even officially her boyfriend. Well, rhetorically, she's trying to tell us that this guy friend of hers is giving her such expensive gift in order to pursue her love interest. I don't know what my other naive female colleagues think....but I assume they were too blinded with jealousy and envy on how lucky she was and she don't even know how to use much function of the phone other than answer and end call button. If they can do some maths and sum it up with reality bits, they should have realize that there's more than just an expensive gift in between a 46 years old married man and a divorcee. Complicated match and it's impossible that a 45 years old married man will spend thousands of bucks on some divorcee who's not interested in him. Any 45 years old man who splurge on another woman certainly will ask something more than just friendship and love.

My beautician, SS bought a new house. A double storey terrace house. Everyone was in awe. Young lady, has her own business and house. It's a big success for any woman. I couldn't ask anything more than that. Erm, perhaps a man who loves me like mad. And I'm sure SS could have any man she wants because she's such a sexy and beautiful lady. Anyhow, rumours comes to my ear that she's also with an older married man. Her business and house were all gifts from the older man. Well, perhaps that's not true since I don't really know SS personally.

And it so happen that R is tremendously popular with married man. There's another family man (also my colleague), which is also very very fond of R's petite beauty. So R is always being showered with big and small, cheap but creative and not-so-creative but expensive gifts from her older men. I try not to be too envious of her because I know the ugly truth behind all the flatteries. But if I put myself in her shoes, I really don't know how would I feel. Will I be too happy and flattered without realizing where the gifts and love come from? Or will I stand on my own ground and be firm with my principles?

I remember when I was 20 (which was 6 years ago, am feeling so ancient now), I refused to accept a Swatch watch from another guy who's just a friend (but wanted something else than just friendship). It was an embarassing moment when he gave me something I didnt ask for all in a sudden. There's nothing much I can do but be frank and tell him off. But honestly I would like to take the watch and then tell him off. And we didnt talk for years until he got a gf and the happy couple will be getting marry by the end of this year and cheesily, I'm invited. -_-

What a loser....ppl can accept handphone and even a house. There's so much more materialistic women out there who'd long forgetten their guilt and enjoying so much luxuries and I can't even take a RM200 watch????? Am I proud of myself or what?

But I'm nowhere near these clever ladies. Which is more impossible? To ask love or money from men? If you'd watch Sex and The City, then you'll understand what makes the woman they are today(go watch lar if you havent...you'll really understand and agree 1). Talking bout Sex and The City, I'm going to buy the last 3 seasons, saw it at some DVD store. I'm so drugged with this series but I don't know, watching SaTC, sometimes I feel silly and despise them and sometimes clever and proud of womanhood. Sadly, that is how twisted we (women) are.

I don't know what trigger me to write about this. But I remember that I started to draft this when Yokie told me how lucky her colleague was when her bf gave her a new handphone. Same thing with R when she got her new hphone. Everyone was like 'wah wah wah' and 'you so lucky lar'. And when my friend flaunted her expensive Valentine gift, we were 'wah wah wah' all over again. But do we want to love the lifeless material or the person who gave it to you?

But with this kinda world that we live in, it's all about material, money and lust. I still hope that not everyone is polluted. I hope.....

Women, I still have faith with you.

I'm going to get a doggie

I don't care what my parents said. I don't care if my bf don't like dogs. I don't care if the whole world thinks I'm not capable of taking care of any living things. I am sooooo going to get a girl's best friend (not diamond, u dumb), a dog of my own.

I guess, it won't be too hard taking care of a dog....right? How difficult could it be?? I mean, you just feed her, or even milk her, walk her around, then give her plenty of love. Right??? Well, ok..I know this will not be an easy task, and me being born with not so much motherly love but I want to give it a try. I AM an animal lover. How can I go through life without the dog-caring+loving phase? I don't know about other ppl who can't even go near any furry animals(well, you know who you are, tsk tsk) but they don't know what they'll miss and how much the furkids can spice up our life. But some ppl like Ooi Kin Fai just couldn't understand the special kind of love between human and animals. It's just like how I don't understand how someone could be so obsess with an English football club.

Me with Pong. She make me realize that I must get my own doggie. I have so much dog love inside me. >__<

Last week I went petshop hopping to hunt for a dog. I found one really uber adorable toy shih-tzu...but just the dog RM700. I still need to get a cage, a bowl, water dispenser or bottle kinda thing, food etc etc. Shih-Tzu are too common breed. Almost everyone is carrying one. So I try to look for some other breed. Then I saw Yorkshire Terrier....too cute to be true!! But very yappy and hyper active. One funny thing, a common short name for Yorkshire Terrier is Yorkie. Hmm....that sound so familiar. I think I heard that name somewhere before....HAHAHAHA. Sigh, I went home empty handed. I kept thinking of the super small size toy shih-tzu but it's a tad too expensive, considering that this year is my Low Budget Year. >_<

By fate, when I told my colleague how much I wanted a dog, he told me his friend's dog just had 6 pups and he wants to give them away to good homes. And we arranged to meet the pups. And so just now, together with NaiNai, I went all the way to Kg.Tawas to meet the pups.

Awwwwwwwwwww
Guess which one I picked?
I picked out the browniest female pup. She got the darkest face of all the pups. And also the fattest.

Little browny is frowning, 'Please put me down'.

Frustated with all the meddling but she greeted me with her little tongue. *aaawwwww*

And I'm going to name the brownie NICI. NaiNai said it's not a cute name. She said I should name the pup something like PomPom, LuLu, FuFu, TuTu....-_- so uncreative lar. I'm still gonna stick with Nici. It's a special name for me and Kin Fai.
Now Nici is still with her mom because she is just 2 weeks old and too young to leave her mom. She still can't yap or walk, just crawling around and sleep all the time, like human babies. So darn, super, uber cute Nici. I'm going to bring Nici home in another 2 weeks. I still havent tell my parents about this. When I hinted to them before this, seems like not much consentient from them. With or without their consent, I am sooooo going to bring Nici home. I'm sure Nici has her special power to make everyone fall in love with her.
